Mark and Cheryl's summer wedding in June was held at the Valley Presbyterian Church in Portola Valley. They met years ago at a meetup, Mark was supposed to be set up with someone else, but when he saw Cheryl, he had to get to know her, it had to be serendipity!

I had the pleasure of photographing Nicole's sister's wedding last year, so it was so lovely to see her and Roger this year again for their engagement session and soon the wedding.
When Nicole told me Roger's proposal plan was at a sky lantern festival, the only thing that came to my mind was "how romantic!" But unfortunately, the event had to be canceled due to a thunderstorm.
