Los Altos History Museum - Bonnie + Mike | Michelle Chang Photography

Bonnie and Mike’s wedding was postponed due to COVID. I had the honor to photograph their city hall civil ceremony in 2019 right before the pandemic, and finally this year their big celebration. Their marriage celebration was on a nice October Saturday at the Los Altos History Museum. Family and friends came from all parts of the world to celebrate this beautiful day.

Because Bonnie and Mike already had a civil ceremony in 2019, this celebration was without a ceremony. I think this allowed Bonnie and Mike to relax on the day and were able to fully enjoy spending time with family and friends.

The Los Altos Museum is one of my favorite venues for weddings because of its outdoor courtyard surrounded by nicely manicured landscapes. If you have been following my blog post, you know one of my favorite parts of a wedding is the speeches. I truly enjoy listening to these speeches and got to know the love that family and friends had for the couple.

It was an honor to document Bonnie and Mike’s civil ceremony and finally the celebration reception. Next year I’ll be photographing Mike’s sister’s wedding and I can’t wait to see everyone again.

Congratulations, Bonnie and Mike!
